BRAID-OUT what do you use?

What do you use on your hair to make sure it holds the braid wave but isn't too crunchy?

Foam wrap lotion?
Setting Lotion?
Mosuue?
Gel?

Do you braid it wet or dry?
Do you saturate it afterwards?

Help me out.

When I do my friends hair in two-strand twists, the hair is dry first and then I use s-curl. She's like a 4a. her braid-outs come out okay but I think they could be better. Hopefully someone has a good answer to this question cause I also would like to know.............Oh and welcome by the way newbie

Mocks hair- i think you are posting in the wrong area. You should have posted in the "haircare tips..." And i think there is a thread on braidouts w/ posted pics and what they use on their hair. Maybe one of the moderators will move this thread. BTW- You have a nice siggy, very original. And your hair looks lovely. Happy growing lady:0) !!!
