Well I've had my braids in for about 1 month and I'm not sure if my hair has grown. I did measure the distance from my scalp to the base of the braid and it was 1/2 inch. So I can only hope that means I've gained 1/2 inch for the month.
I guess that is not so bad. I can honestly say that my hair is mostly likely happier because since starting the challenge, I shampoo 1x week on a regular basis now and I spray the s-curl daily and every other day the infusium 23 leave in.
I have an event this upcoming Thursday and need to have my hair out. So I will have to take braids out Thursday. Shampoo, deep condition, style hair utilizing my instant weave and on Saturday put new braids in. Oh well..a gurl has to change it up every now and then.
Don't kick me out of the challenge....
p.s. I am going to pay someone to do the braids on Saturday and these ones will have to stay in until....they look icky..
