Brahmi Oil???

Im gonna start back on my kick as well. I did notice when I first started using the Ayurvedic oils that my hair always came out soft and more manageable. I didnt stay with them long enough to notice any growth enhancement. I'll keep you posted on any progress. :look:

I am loving this oil! I use it 2 different ways now. I use it by itself and in my sulfur oil mix. I am loving the results. My hair is definitely growing, I have way less shedding, I like the way my hair feels with it and my hair isn't drying out when I use the sulfur. This is definitely a keeper for me. I also like that it doesn't have any mineral oil in it.

Just ordered some of this today, can't wait to get it in. I will post when it arrives.

I've been using vadik brahmi amla oil for a couple weeks now and I love everything except the smell. I use it as an overnight treatment and as a pre-treatment to my Ayurveda mixes. I apply it with my fingertips and massage it into my scalp. I already feel my hair getting thicker- its a keeper!

I finally rec'd my brahmi oil Monday and have been oiling my scalp/massaging it in every other day, you all may think it's strange of me but I happen to love the fragrances of the Indian oils. Just saying....

Okay, its been a few weeks and I'm still in love with this oil. The smell goes away after a while- now there's barely a scent and I'm thinking about adding it to my WGO oil mixture.

I'm thinking about adding the brahmi/alma & bring-raj oil(same company) to my Chicoro pre-poo since when I've used them before my hair is always soft, plus I can definitely tell all my roots have thickened, henna may have something to do with this as well although I've only hennaed once

I love the smell of the Ayurvedic/Indian oils as well...I haven't gotten around to trying the Brahmi oil, but I will be getting some soon. The oil has to be good b/c the powder made my hair strong and thick. Good responses, I enjoyed reading them...

I love the smell of them too!
I made my first batch of amla oil tonight. I will make Brahmi next. It's so much easier than I thought it would be

I received an email from bazaar of india offering me a $5 amazon coupon to call and give my opinion of their oil - no problem! This stuff is now my staple -especially since the smell has decreased. I'm now using it in my scalp oil mixture:

1 Part Wild Growth Hair Oil
1 Part Castor Oil
1 Part Brahmi Amla
1 Part Africa's Best Herbal Oil
1 tsp. of sulfur

3 x per week

My scalp is driving me crazy from the itching and I love it! I don't know if it's the oil or my vitamins, but my hair is growing like a weed. I've been taking pics every week & can't wait to show my growth when I'm out of the hair hiding challenge.

I know right?!!! I found it for like $17 or $18 on amazon but I kept searching. I googled Vadik Herbs, the company that makes it and it led me to this site www.ayurnaturalbeauty.com/ They have it for 12.49. That is the best price I could find for it. I don't think it is available through Amazon anymore anyway.

She has great customer service and I started buying my Henna from her even though I can get it from the Indian Store in my area but this lady is so rude to me so I said you know what I rather pay shipping and have someone treat me nice than give someone rude any of my money. I order my Indido from her also.. Sometimes you go to those indian stores and get those powders and the expiration date is expired.

Did you let your mixture simmer for a little while I know some people use a crock pot for that I even bought a small one so I can start making my on Alma and brahmi oils

I just bought the powder because the oil smells too strong. I plan to diffuse in some Alma oil. I still have an old oil bottle (can't think of the name) hat has a reservoir in the middle for dry herbs. Does anyone know/seen what I'm talking about?

I put water in the crockpot and put my amla and oil in a glass jar and placed it in the water. I put it on low for about 6 hours maybe.

That's IT! :yep:

Since I just used original oil to seal my strands I did worry about the mineral oil.

IMO, it is worth buying just for the bottle design. You can pop out the tube and add fresh ingredients, so this is my cheap and easy method of customizing my oil mix.

Thanks Leiah!

Brahmi oil is awesome as a overnight pre poo....

*As a scalp tonic I like to mix it with Mahabringraj,Sesame,AE cren 5drops & little JBCO...

Happy Hair Growing!
