Hi,
I've been here awhile, but could someone please explain to me and/or show me what is considered bra strap?
Thanks a bunch. :D

wow! I always wondered about that. Thanks msportugal for posting that!!! & Thanks HP for asking the question! See no question is a dumb question or can be asked too many times b/c you always learn more every time.

Thank you msportugal. I appreciate it. Great example.
BTW, I slipped over to your album and your hair is very nice. Your daughter has very nice hair also. It's a good thing.

You're welcome secretdiamond. I just felt like such an idiot asking after all this time.:D

Bra strap for me is where MY hair touches MY bra that I started measuring with a year and a half ago (be it too big, too small, hiking up, riding low...whatever, it's just a personal tool for measurement). That's MY personal gauge for bra strap. It may be different for everyone, so I'd say it's a matter of personal opinion on what bra you would like to measure with, what length you would like to achieve, etc. However...when your hair is a few inches below your neck...that AIN'T bra strap, I don't care what kind of bra you wearing!

NO problem. She is growing and growing and so is her hair. The back is natural the front has some relaxed ends because it grows slower. I did cut some more this morning because she wanted 2 puffs and the ends were interrupting her style! She needs an album update......

 Now I'm confused about this all over again. Does this mean that bra strap length is when your hair falls in the length of the strap? :ohwell:

Where your hair reaches the place where your bra hooks together. I don't like the term bra STRAP, I think that bra CLASP is a clearer way of referencing it but BSL is the term that seems to be most widely used and accepted.

 Yeah, but Im with you. I have my own special bra and I will consider myself bra strap when it says so.

that is an excellent guide. since many women wear the wrong size bra, which causes it to hike up. i hardly wear bras so i gauge progress using my shoulder blades.

While I always wear bras I could easily go without one because I don't really have much of anything to support. You and i must be around the same size in that area. :look:

Thanks Cincysweetie, you explained that to me beautifully. :)

OT: Highpriestess, is that your hair in your avatar?
No. :sekret: Unfortunately not. It's just a hair inspiration. I saw your album and your hair is very nice. I know you will reach your goal.
