Bout to fight the hairdresser...

I have been natural since Dec. My hair has grown alot. I went yesterday to get a roller set done, and this new stylist said" I need to trim your ends, everyone needs to have their ends trimmed every six weeks." I said, " No, I haven't had any heat on my hair since Dec so no thank you." Then she was like " I need to trim your ends because its suppose to be done" My response was " If you try to trim my hair I will get out of this chair and fight you!!!" So, she dropped the subject.:lachen:

That's the best thing I've heard in a while! And I don't like violence...but still.

lol the only reason i'm laughing about it is because in my mind i see you doning it in a playful manner ( i hope she didn't really feel threatened ) ..lol but that's what she gets. So many stylists claim they're there for the customer but once the customer suggests something different from what they think , they do what they want anyway!

I love it:grin:

Good for you. I'm so tired of hairstylist thinking that trimming hair every six weeks is the right thing to do.. I'm wondering ...is that what they teach in beauty school? Because that line of thinking is statewide.

You're my LHCF hero. lol. I wish I had said something similar to stylists who made up reasons to cut my hair. "I have to cut it to curl it." Telling me I must get it trimmed when I had went to another salon a month before and had one..........

Now that's what I'm talking about! We should get some shirts made up with messages on them that convey what we want when we step into the salon.
"Cut me, and I'll cut you!" :giggle:

you know!! Some stylist act like its a life/death situation. I'm not at the Dr... chick...so drop the scissors or you will be at the Dr.!!!:look:

I'm getting my touchup on Wednesday and I was just sitting here thinking how I was going to convince her not to trim my ends. That's crazy that we have to resort to stuff like this....it's OUR hair!

What's wrong with these stylists, she demands on trimming your hair just because it's suppose to be done:rolleyes:?! At least she didn't tell you you have scraggly ends.

I would have enjoyed hearing your conversation with her:yep:.

:lachen:Too funny! I can just imagine what she was thinking while doing your hair. She probably warned the other stylists to keep the scissors away from you too after you left. :lachen::lachen:Way to go girl!
