Just came into say yayyy for colour! So what's your colour care reggie?
Regi please?![]()
I L.O.V.E IT! I plan on adding very thin highlights to my bang/crown area next month and you are tempting me to do it sooner, lol. But seriously, your hair is gorgeous, and I love the pop of your bangs! How do you straighten your hair? It looks salon sleek and I want those results!
@outspokenwallflower
Yes I was going to wait next month too but next month is my next touch up and I wanted my hair to rest between chemical services. Although I am debating on whether or not to relax my bangs anymore. Bleach straightens your hair like a relaxer would. So I dunno I may just touch up everything but my bangs!
I use the Chase Method (not with a comb) but with My Nexxus Sleek Brush.

In small sections I pull the hair taut with the brush and tap the roots with the flatiron. Then just chase the brush with the flatiron to the ends. When I get to the ends I kind of slow down. I don't put any product in my hair except for ApHogee Keratin Green Tea spray (as a protectant) but I let it air dry over night in my hair or blow dry it. I use a Sedu Flatiron.
HTH!
I saw this at CVS last week and took a pic with my iPhone. LOL I was thinking of using it when I do my first flat iron. Is it hard on your hair?
I never had a problem with it. The bristles are hard (don't be afraid) but they are not damaging (if your not ripping through your hair and take your time). I never had breakage, mid shaft splits or split end damage by this brush. It helps me a lot. And I can't seem to do a flatiron without it. I never get the same results with a regular brush or comb.
The key is to NOT close the hair between the brushes to hard. Let your hair glide through it. If you hit a snag...detangle your hair and start again. Also take smaller sections at a time like you would if you were to flatiron it!
