Blowouts or Regular Flat ironing???

Would you agree that flat ironing is best for stick-straight hair, and blowouts is all about that "body" Baybay!

I think I would prefer the blowout because of the extra body it gives to flatironing. But My hair is fine, so I don't think I could do blowouts often. I usually just rollerset and flatiron my roots if necessary.

Hey Girl, I think we are the only ones up!!! I usually come in to work early. I guess I really should not be on the internet LOL :sekret:

i think blow outs will better for body, but i've never had one :( i'd need to get a round brush. i wonder how long it takes to master.

I agree, blowouts. It actually gets my hair a bit straighter that I can get it with a flat iron. ;)

Actually both can give you quite the same effect, except the blowout will definitely give the extra oompf to the hair. I prefer the blowout, b/c for me it typically lasts a little longer, and requires a little less "hands on" hair time, since I have thick hair.

I personally prefer to flat iron because blow drying dries my hair, maybe I just haven't learned the technique. But blow dried hair does have more bounce & swing!

When I get my hair done at the salon they do a combo blowout-flat ironing. SO I get the body with the straight look, it be swangin' for days. Everytime I blink my hair moves fluidly...gotta love Vidal Sassoon.

I love blowouts for the swing & bounce. Flat ironing is not so great on my hair since it's fine, but I can still maintain a medium-thick look with a blowout.

I agree...I have fine/thin hair and blowouts allow it to swing and bounce.

i have pretty thick hair so blow outs don't work as well for me, i sitll end up having to flat iron. i vote for the flat iorn it gives me that silky smooth finish!
