what is the proper way to blow dry ones hair

do you ues a heat serum, section the hair off add product?? what kind of hair dryer should i be using?? im really at wits end

when i wash my hair on my off week from the salon and im not doing a wet set i want to blow dry my hair but everytime i do it it tuns to a puffy mess hellllllp!!!

TIA ladies

I like to use the Olive Oil hair lotion by ORS> I apply that to wet hair. It's a moisturizer and heat protectant. I also have an ionic blowdryer. This makes a big difference. I use the warm/high setting (never HOT)...
I do 4 sections.
The last thing I do is smooth a small dollop of good old fashioned grease over my hair concentrating on the length and ends and then I blow dry my whole head on the cool setting. This really brings out the softness and shine.

I haven't blown my hair dry but maybe once this whole year. But when it cools down I will more than likely be breaking it out again.

that was for natual hair im relaxed i dont think that process would be benifical to me, but thanks for the video!
