Blowdrying?

I don't put any heat in my hair from one wash to the next, which is every two weeks. I get a blowdry, and flat iron or curl. I'm wondering if this is damaging to the hair.

The blow dryer and flat iron are taking moisture out of your hair. It's probably causing dryness. If you have any splits or breakage, that may be the cause.

If you deep condition on a regular basis and use a heat protectant (like Nexxus Heat Protexx, Joico Kpak Leave in Protectant, or CHI Silk infusion) prior to the heated appliance, you shouldn't experience any damage. This is also assuming that the appliance isn't set on a hot-as-heck temperature. Hair that is in good condition doesn't require high temps to achieve a desired style.

Lemme see if I can link you too some helpful threads...I'll be back :)
