BLOW DRYING??

I blowdry whenever I wash my hair - so about twice a week on average. It hasn't hurt so far, I don't think.

I figure I need some heat otherwise my hair gets really tangled. And I use KeraCare Silken Seal Blow Drying Complex, which seems to protect it from the heat.

i try to stay away from the blowdryer, but sometimes it is an "evil" necessity for me. i try to limit it to twice a month...i personally wouldn't use it twice a week...especially if your goal is to grow and retain your hair length...

i also believe that your blowdrying technique can make all the difference in the world when/if you do blowdry....

What if the setting is on low or cool?...and maybe not dry it all the way?...I'm trying to cut down on the amount of time I'm spending on my hair on wash day but I don't want to compromise the length or damage it in the process....I'm thinking about maybe doing this once or twice a month and just airdry the other times.

I always blow dry my hair on med till it's almost dry, but not quite. I blow dry my hair every weekend. I'd like to cut down on blow drying too but air drying just doesn't get it as straight as I'd like. I want to learn about rollersetting - it's much better I'm told.

When I was overseas I got my hair washed and blow dried straight once a week...I stopped doing this when I saw a couple of shedded hairs with spilts at the roots !! Now I blow dry if I don't have time to air dry or sit under the dryer.

I blow dry once a week. I don't air dry because my hair doesn't like it. Only flat iron if I am going out and want to look really nice. I don't have the time to rollerset anymore.
