I am so pissed and annoyed at the same time. I am natural and I have been since October 2010. I cut all of my hair off and I've been rocking a caesar cut ever since. I honestly love it. Well yesterday I called myself coloring my hair honey blonde and the outcome was awful. My hair was this brassy orange almost copper color. I had dyed my hair previously but I went to Aveda Institute. I am out of town for the weekend (presently in Kure Beach, NC) and I decided to go to my friend's hair dresser to get this corrected and the broad made it even worst. Now my hair is a bright orange almost a golden color. I am so upset.

I read somewhere and a friend told me that I could put a black rinse over my hair to get it back to black but I also read somewhere that it can turn green if I try coloring it again. I am more so upset because I have a formal event to attend next weekend and I refuse to go out looking like carrot top. Any advice ladies?

the black rinse should be fine, though you may want to be careful about your scalp, since you've got a short cut.

before you do black... try a medium warm brown by miss clairol (sally's beauty supply)

my hair was that color (relaxed) from a underdeveloped blonde and I used this rinse... when I tell you men, women.....EVERYONE fell in love with that color

I tried for years to duplicate it.... it was the most beautiful color i've ever worn
My aunts and other fam' still ask about it til to this day

i'd honestly just cut if off. probably wouldn't even take a month to grow back.

I had a bad experience with henna and ended up doing a second BC. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

@tHENATuRALhAiRpRoJEcT So do I just purchase this rinse now or do I just wait a little while? Can I purchase this from a drug store or BSS?

I would suggest that you call 1-800-CLAIROL for advice on coloring your hair. I did this about 12-13 years ago when I decided that I was tired of bleached hair and wanted to go back to Black. I was afraid of ending up with green hair but I didn't have the money to go to a professional stylist. The lady that took my call advised me which colors to use and the results were wonderful.

Good luck!

ETA: I purchased my hair color from Sallys, your BSS may have what you need as well.

Don't cut it off!!!!...... you can correct it.

If you color it black, make sure the base is BLACK/BROWN

I've had a color accident before and did a correction color of black with a BLACK/BROWN base
