I have a quick question...To anyone who is using black castor oil to seal their ends, Are you just applying the black castor oil to your ends by itself or do you use it as a sealer. I apply profective healthy ends or eq mango butter to my ends and then seal with kemi oyl, now I want to use the black castor oil to seal. Is that okay? Are you ladies applying it all over your hair or just your ends?

TIA
Tanya

I use JBCO as a sealant over my Africa's Best Liquid Mayo, down the length of my hair. :)

cant wait to try this out

I ordered from sams caribbean online over a month ago & still have not received it

How long did it take for you to receive it, if you ordered from here!?

Also, is it a growth stimulant? I had a friend claim her mother used this

with Africa's best Organics Horsetail & Rosemary grease (mixed

together) and it grew her sisters hair out.. but I've used the reg CO and it

seems way to thick to use on the scalp, what do you think ??

I use the clear castor oil on my scalp. I don't feel it is too thick for the scalp. My hair is super thick and healthy. Castor oil is a big part of my regimen.

I'm so glad someone asked this question. I'm looking into using castor oil. But I don't know what kind. Is coconut oil work just the same. I have the coconut oil in a jar. I think its the same thing. :perplexed

I have the regular Castor Oil (from Vitamin Shoppe), and while it is very sticky and not easily spreadable, it does make my hair increadibly soft. I do like it.

On a whim after much ado on the board, I ordered the BCO (it was also on sale at the time). Smells like bacon grease, but I only use it as a pre-poo treatment so smell is not as important. I have had great results with it. I suppose it would be the same with odorless clear castor oil, but I have not tried it. Although, I have had a good experience with the BCO, I don't know that I would re-order. I believe that I can get similar results with sweet almond oil added to conditioner, etc. But for now, I am trying to use up all of the stuff I have ordered over the last year or so, and only replace products that I absolutely love.

I tried this last night and so far I loooove it. I used it in my deep conditioner, mixed with my leave and applied some on wet hair and ends:) Me lovey:) I blowdried my hair and it was silky without the use of serum. I'm not sure if it was the Salerm 21 or castor oil but it was one of them. Before I blowdried my hair was 90% airdried and my hair was sooo soft, supple and moisturized. I was actually in awe of how my hair felt. This combo is a keeper:)

I've only tried the regular Castor Oil and I love it! I apply it to the edges and ends of my hair. I also put a tablespoon in my conditioners. I'll will try the Black cator oil soon.:yep:

Try it! I am 6 weeks post with frazzled ends (I airdry) and I used JBCO it 2 nights in a row and I love the way my hair looks and feels.

Do you think your hair would feel just as good with regular Castor Oil? I just purchased castor oil and I don't want to jump ahead and buy something new. It's hard to use regular ole castor oil on my hair every night or rub it all over, because it's so thick.

I love how castor oil makes my hair feel, so in that case, I might as well get JBCO so that I can use it more efficiently.

I have never used regular castor oil, but a lot of ladies here use it and say there is no difference. I don't think the JBCO is thick-thick, just thicker than other liquids.

I use regular castor oil frquently. I use an applicator bottle that you would use for hair coloring. Fill it up and oil my scalp. My hair is so thick. I will try the JBCO to do my own comparison.

I like regular castor oil better, not only is it way cheaper but it just feels better on my hair. I purchased JBCO @ my local BSS and I sold it, it was a full bottle too.

I voted for the Sam's Jamaican Black Castor oil; when I put it on my ends at night, my hair is very smooth and shiny the next day! I've not tried regular castor oil.

HTH!

I've never tried JBCO, but I use regular Castor oil and love it! I'm not gonna try JBCO because I can't imagine my hair feeling any better than this  This stuff had me literally in amazement as I was takng my rollers out!!
