I don't know if this been posted yet but I read it. It's pretty good.

Holding onto bitterness and resentment can be a deadly disease if it is left unchecked.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines bitter as:

Having or being a taste that is sharp, acrid, and unpleasant.

Causing a sharply unpleasant, painful, or stinging sensation; harsh: enveloped in bitter cold; a bitter wind.

Difficult or distasteful to accept, admit, or bear: the bitter truth; bitter sorrow.

Proceeding from or exhibiting strong animosity: a bitter struggle; bitter foes.

Resulting from or expressive of severe grief, anguish, or disappointment: cried bitter tears.

Marked by resentment or cynicism: "He was already a bitter elderly man with a gray face" (John Dos Passos).
What is it that causes us to give so much power to people who could care less if we live or die? The truth of the matter is holding onto bitterness and resentment does not hurt the other person. As a matter of fact you end up hurting yourself and living in the muck and mire of that garbage.

It's important to acknowledge your pain and then LET IT GO. Don't hold onto bitterness, anger, resentment thinking that you are hurting the other person. It's not healthy. God warns us against the dangers of bitterness. We must get to a place where we make the Word of God our final authority and not our experience or the experiences of others.
