*Bits of fluff on the end of hair! -naturals-*

"Honestly, Truly"
I've just finished washing my daughters hair, and I've noticed loads of little fluff on the ends!! It's not like you can just pick them out either, they are tangled with the hair ends!!

My older daughter doesn't really have this problem, but her hair behaves totally different in the first place.

What can I do to prevent this in the first place? Do others have this problem?

if i looks like hair, i get this too. its shed hair that makes its way down the shaft. there is nothing you can do to avoid it.

Hi there, thanks for replying :)

It doesn't though, it's usually white or blue type 'fluff' is the only way I can describe it.

Girl,my daughters hair has the same problem, I call it carpet fuzz! Just brush her hair really well before washing to help minimize it.

Yes, I think i'll use a brush next time.

My older daughter suggested it could be the towel!! Clever girl!

I think it could be from her pillow case or the sheet or her pajamas. Maybe if you have her sleep with her hair covered with a satin bonnet or scarf, it would keep anything from getting in her hair.

I noticed that when I started using flannel sheets, I would sometimes find stuff mixed with my hair. But it doesn't occur if I keep my hair covered at night.

this happens to my daughter she lays on the carpet to watch tv or play her gameboy
i make her lay on a satin pillow it took a while to get her in the habit but i always try
to explain to her why i tell her to do things. she also has lent in her hair if i let her wear
her braids for more than 3-4days at a time so i try to go thru and pic it off because
in her hair and mine i have found that lent=tangles=knots=breakage

And this is exactly what happens!! :(

Thanks for the suggestions ladies!! She is only two and doesn't like having things on her head, but i'm going to keep working at it!! We've made so much progress since joining this board, don't want to ruin it now.
