I'm in too. Took off about 2 inches in July and another 1 in August. But it's growing back fast and I still have hope to be bra strap (or really close) by December.
I might have to join reluctantly. I just got a touch up and reached my goal of bra strap but my stylist says I need a trim only about an inch. I told her I would do it next week. She said this would shape me up and I should be all set until after the new year.
I'm in. This sounds promising and right on time for me since I got 2 inches cut this past Tuesday.
I will deep condition once a week, more conditioner washes and loose updos. I will try my hardest to not wear my hair down so much this Fall/Winter (very hard for me to do since I can't wear it down in the Summer
I'm saving this as one of my favorites because I'm going to join at the end of November. I plan to cut two inches and have not only even length hair, but hopefully no split ends!
I just got back from having a big trim to get rid of most of my split ends. I realized today that you can never really get rid of all of them unless you get a major, major haircut. I am cutting out all cones, they're drying my hair out and causing me split ends and breakage. I have alot of oils evoo, castor oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil and coconut oil that i can use for treatments
I dont have the courage for a big trim right now but Ive had several small ones in a row, does that count?
Ive had a trim every touchup the past 4 times. All together its at least a 2-3 inches.
Now Im ready to take a break from trimming, maybe Ill get one around new years....Id like to try to only trim twice a year when I get my hair in tip top condition.
A stylist cut my hair about 6 months ago. I trimmed it about 1.5 months ago. I do feel much better about the condition of my hair and I'm not so afraid of trims anymore. The results are always good, although I definitely would prefer to keep the length. It actually tends to grow a little faster with trims, etc.

Me too!! I have a feeling I'm going to get an "aggressive trim" next month since my stylist has been easy on me the last couple of times... /images/graemlins/look.gif
Now that I have done a wash (after touch up and trim), I have determined that the stylist cut about an inch and one half from the back and about an inch from the sides. She sort of blunted my hair in the back, taking off my tail of longer hair. Although I was so proud that I made it to 24 (the tail)inches, I am now back to about 22.5-23. My hair feels much shorter, but I'm vowing to get it back, and this time it will hopefully be a little more even and w/o the dry, thin ends. My regimen will be:
Wash twice weekly (1x w/ CON, 1X No poo)
Airdry
Nurse my damaged hairline with ORS temple balm, Biotin Creme, and castor oil.
In about a month or so, when my edges are stronger, I will get braided. This always seems to work like magic for growth.
