So I must admit when people on here would talk about Pantene, I would roll my eyes. I never believed Pantene was 4 our hair b/c of a bad experience a long time ago. I tried some Pantene poo & cond & it left my hair hard as a rock. My girlfriend laughed @ me & told me that Pantene wasn’t 4 black hair & I never used it again.
Fast 4ward 2 this past weekend…
I had seen a thread or 2 about the good hair finds @ Big Lots & I had 2 run n there 4 something else so of course I browsed the hair section. The selection was much larger than normal. I was looking 4 a cheap moisturizing DC. The only thing I could come up w/was the Pantene Intensive Curly Hydrating Mask. I kept looking @ 1st. Then finally I picked up the jar & read the ingredients..only 1 cone, no parabens. Hmmm…worth a try, I thought.
I went home & DCed overnight on dry hair with this. (I also put Vatika on my hair 1st.) The next morning I rinsed & then conditioned again w/the same DC (Sareca’s tip). My hair was soooooo soft & moisturized. I just had a bad hair & scalp experience w/tree braids – which is a whole ‘nother’ thread- but this seemed to revive my hair. It’s only $2.80 so I plan 2 go & buy about 10 jars just in case it’s discontinued or something.
Anyone familiar with this product? I’d love to hear what you have 2 say, b it bad or good.
1 last thing – I also bought a cond 2 do co-washes w/by Vogue Int’l. It’s called Silking Silk Smooth Therapy Conditioner. I co-washed w/it yesterday & this is also some good stuff for the price - $1.80. It has hydrolyzed silk proteins & shea butter among other things.
Well, I just wanted 2 share my Big Lots/Pantene experience…
