I couldn't quite make it to 1 year in my transition. I thought I was just going to cut "only the back" and ended up doing the BC. I am in love with my natural hair. I was nervous but once I got past the point of no return my comfort level was thru the roof. Thanks to my hubby for taking the pics :D

His new name for me is Wavydo...it must be said together, never Wavy Do...but Wavydo :lachen: It was Weavydo when I had my sew-in. UPGRADED!!! lol So here you lovelies go. I am so excited about my natural, healthy hair journey.

The next day after applying facepaint, hair airdrying with leave-in conditioner (leave in alone does not work with my natural hair) FYI I did NOT wear my hair like this, I was waiting for it to dry some.

Back shot. I have multiple textures...one side and the very front of my hair is almost only waves. That part thankfully is normally slicked back, so you can't necessarily tell.

Thank you sweetie. I transitioned for 11 months and some days. My 1 year transitioning anniversary would've been November 7th, 2010. I was impatient but oh so happy with my decision.
 
Thank you all for the comments, I truly appreciate you all. LHCF has been a hairsaver for sure and I am sooooooo happy to have found this board.

If this juice keeps my hair tamed I might just clear our ALL my products. My hubby told me yesterday with the saddest face "baby don't buy anymore products". Like the true product junkie, I brought more juice. Clawdamercy what I'z gon do?

I only made it 11 months, 3 days too! Congrats! Mine started out just wavy too and as it grew & got moisturized and used to being unweighed by the ends, my curlies really bloomed! :)
 
Lol at how giddy you are!!! I love it! :congrats: on your BC...You have a head full of hair for 11 months!!!! :welcome: to the natural side!
