Best Relaxer

Hey ya'll i need some help. My sister has color treated hair, and she wants to know whats the best relaxer to use because her hair keeps on breaking when she gets a perm. Is there any relaxer that anyone can suggest for her to use, and any tips on how she can care for her colored hair??

What relaxer is she using now and in what strength? What kind of color does she use? Does it contain ammonia? As far as relaxers, some such as affirm fiberguard are known to preserve the health of the strands. This might be more important for her since she also wants to color.

i'd say a good mild relaxer, or one that's specifically made for color-treated/fine hair. i'm color treated and i use Design Essentials Mild.

The best thing that I can say for anyone with colored hair is to deep condition like crazy. Moisture and Protein are my best friends.
