Best products for basing scalp

So I am about to get a relaxer on Saturday. Besides petroleum jelly and maybe stuff that comes in relaxer kits as basers, what is something good to base with? I always burn to some degree, so I am looking for ways to minimize that. This is my first relaxer since joining the forum, so I finally have people to ask.

I use Mizani Butter Base....it is part of the Mizani Butter Blends Relaxer system..... Works really great for me. Absolutely NO - NONE!, ZIP!, NADA! - burning during my LYE relaxer treatment

Summit Sensitive Scalp Base is what I use. Don't get much burns at all with it.

I use Beeswax (Murrays), very thick and protects my scalp like nobody's business
