Ok ladies...name them! :D

As much as I love looking through fotki to drool at long hair, I *love* it when members post tutorials...as in, where they show how to do stuff step by step.

Maybe we can make a list of who does what (no self nominations please!:p ). I wanna know that the tutorial a member puts in a fotki is so simple to follow that another member was thrilled to nominate her.

I started this thread in off-topic to ensure that only LHCF members can view it. However, if a member requires people to contact her for her password to view her fotki, please do not post anyone's password in this thread. Simply give her kudos by mentioning her name and then we can each take it from there.

I have had tutorial threads before, but it's hard to take all those pics cause it's just me. I will try to do better!;)

Putting all those cute pics up every week of a different hairstyle. Ain't no one on here protective styling it like you...go on witcha ya bad self :grin: ... I just wanna know how to do at least one...

It's in My Settings. Then you click on Settings. Under the Appearance heading, theres a title "Color Scheme" Click change and you can make changes to the colors in your fotki display. HTH.
 
DEFINITELY SYLVER2!!! I was just looking at it last night and was in awe of the hard work she is putting into that just to help out the ladies. It is so thorough and informative. I don't think I'd ever have the patience for all of that and that's why my hat goes off to her and all the ladies who take time out of their very busy schedules to do that. Just so nice. :yep:

Yes, when I'm applying NTM and Garnier Leave In to my new growth and tying my headscarf to lie it flat....your spirit is there with me in the bathroom.

*that didn't sound right, but you know what I mean...*;)

I don't even have a "My Settings" option:( when I did the help, it said only premium members can do it...
Oh and Sylver, Kinikakes and SouthernGirlz all have THE BOMB fotki's...
I use Sylver's Scarf method
Kini's conditioner wash method and....
I WILL be using SG'z trim method from now on... damn stylists.

Now if I can only find someone with a method to growing hair 6 inches overnight

theres a self braiders tips thread that has a site with a tutorial for kinky twists. there's no video, but it's very detailed! preciousjewel started the thread.

You have it, sometimes depending on your window settings, it's hard to see. I am not a premium member.
It's down toward the bottom of the drop down that's exactly to the right of the "FOTKI" wording in the upper left hand corner of the page.
 
I owe a BIG apology to Ra Sylver!! I use her scarf method every week (and it is the only one I use every week).

Wanted to add Macherieamour's Blog. She has video tutorials on pre-pooing, wrapping, on blowing out roots after rollerset and my favorite -- the saran wrap treatment. After I did that, my hair was so silky!!

yes, i couldn't get into southerngirl's albums either. the password in her profile doesn't work, maybe you can pm her or sign her gbook asking for the password?
