Nice chebaby. This is gonna be a good thread. 2013 was a very good year. :yep:

Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer. Hands down a HG moisturizer.

Silk Dreams Mocha Silk Infusion. HG light protein treatment. Excellent...does not need heat to work.

Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk Cream Moisture Dream Deep Conditioner: HG moisturizing treatment. Others come close, but nothing has topped it yet.

Annabelle's Pumpkin Pie Hair/Body Butter: This smells heavenly and is a great sealant for my hair. I also use it on my skin.

Annabelle's Pumpkin Spice Leave in spray: Very moisturizing light leave in and refresher (and I don't usually like sprays). Smells delicious.

Komaza Care Protein Strengthener: My HG medium/strong protein treatment. Does not make my hair hard, but stops breakage in its tracks for my fine strands.

Oyin Hair Dew: Very nice moisturizer and refresher...smells good to boot. Repurchase

Soultanicals Mango Dip Detangling Slip. Excellent...the best detangler/prepoo I have ever used...ever in life. *I purchased from an online retailer to avoid dealing w/the vendor's slow shipping issues. Repurchases will be made at my local natural hair BSS.*

My Honey Child Buttery Soy: I have officially replaced my HH butters with this lovely gem of a butter/styler. It is so smooth/satiny and makes twists juicy and shine.

NJoy's Long & Healthy Growth Oil w/sulfur: Excellent results with this oil that does not dry hair out.

Pomade Shop Peppermint Pomade: Wonderfully smelling scalp treatment. Does not dry hair out.

Welp, looks like I have some shopping to do

My Honey Child Burdock Lotion - My hair feels truly moisturized when I use this.

CJ Rehab - Had it in stash for a while, finally used it and instantly fell in love, moisture & slip.

DB Deep Conditioning Mask (my have name wrong) - Just wonderful!

Oyin Handmade hair dew, define and shine, and pomade. Good smelling hair that's moisturized.

It's not a product: the LOC method, but I do leave-in, moisturizer then oil.

Also not a product: flat twist-outs. My hair was so over the sock buns I had been doing since 2011.

I have to second this one. I realized that buns aren't good for my ends right now, roll, tuck, pins for me.

I am on a cheapie, find me in a regular walk in store regimen:

Trader Joe's Tea Tree conditioner

L'Oreal 5x Ceramide Conditioner in the black and gold bottle

Tresemme Curly Hair conditioner

- Curlformers for stretching
- DB transitioning Creme
- Aloe gel
- Ouidad Curl CoWash (cannot remember if it was this year or late last year)

oh and another bomb find:
HH jar of joe. i probably wont repurchase but it is amazing. id probably just get a tub of coffee butter. i had a tub a few years ago and it was nice and creamy so yea. more bang for ya buck.

Keeping my hair stretched!
Butters..I have fallen head over heals in love with them which means I am buying them more often lol
Also oils! I use them to pre poo DC seal as a first step before I apply my leave in, oils has become a major part of my regimen and my hair is thanking for it!

I actually found most of my favorites/staples this year:

HV sitrinillah
HV amala cream rinse
BASK vanilla whiskey soak
Oyin hair dew
Purabody murumuru
Silk Dreams razzberry coconut affair
SSI brazilnut curly buttercream
Aloe vera juice
Adding ceramides to my regimen
Tea rinses (oolong, burdock, fenugreek, rooibos)

HH - Pink Lemon Berry Mimosa
HH - Carrot Cake Frosting

Fenugreek Tea Rinses
Marshmallow Root Tea Rinses

Annabelle's Blueberry Cheesecake DC

Henna Treatments

The best thing I discovered this year is too much of anything is bad for your hair. Hair is like a flower garden... Baby it too much and it will die... But I love NTM products.

PBN Cupuacu Hair Butter
PBN Murumuru Moisture Milk
Bobeam shampoo bars
Bobeam Herbal Rootz Oil
Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter

All these have become staples

Elucence moisture conditioner and shampoo: These changed my hair for the better. Although these were known to others I only tried them this year.

I know I'm forgetting something:look: *will probably be back*

Vendors in no Particular order:
Kizuri Beauty
Perfect Blends aka Annabelle's (ETSY)
KeraVada
CC's Naturals
Extra Dark JBCO & Haitian Black Castor Oil
Bel Nouvo's DC'er
b.a.s.k. Beauty (Whiskey Vanilla & YAM)

Products - I had in my Stash but hadn't tried:
DevaCurl No Poo
Curl Junkie's Daily Fix, Repair Me etc....
Darcy's Pumpkin Conditioner
Hairveda's Methi-Set
SSI's Coconut Sorbet

I'm with biancaelyse. I changed my products to under $10 and I have to be able to walk in a store and buy them.

Mane n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner are awesome! I got each liter from Walgreens.com for $2.50.
I also use their Deep Moisture Conditioner which is just as amazing.

I finally tried Silken Child Moisturizer from Sally's. My hg moisturizer.

Oyin Hair Dew and Honey Hemp. So good. And then a fellow member hooked me allllllll the way up with that Juices and Berries. Yes lawd! All are repurchases for sure

Hairveda everything!

Bantu Knotouts

Twist and Curls

I am with you all the way girl! I use NTM products from CVS and I love the way it feels and lathers on my hair. My hair loves it as well.. I am so over the expensive buy online or in a salon products. I have learned better. And like my mother says... IF you know better.. do better.. I'm not saying the expensive products are not good.. I'm just saying the affordable ones are good as well...

Trader Joe's Tea Tree conditioner

L'Oreal 5x Ceramide Conditioner in the black and gold bottle

Tresemme Curly Hair conditioner

I second this.

Oil "rinsing". I've tried this before but I tried again with Wonder 8 oil. My last step before getting out the shower what I do is rub oil in my palm then rub it into my hair section by section. I can literally feel my strand separating!

Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm!

In just 30 minutes this took my transitioning hair to high heaven level for deep conditioning and detangling!

Ayurveda:yep: Using ayurvedic herbs and infusing oils with ayurvedic herbs has been fantastic:yep:

Henna (also ayurvedic) but I thought I'd highlight it. Henna has been amazing for my fine strands:yep: Nupur Henna to be exact; mixed into a cake batter consistency and applied to damp hair...voila:yep:

Claudie hair revitalizer normalizing conditioner: a high po girl best friend. This stuff handles my porous, breaking, brittle, and dry hair like a boss. The results: smooth, shiny, strong, resilient strands. No great slip, but does exactly what it says.
Claudie renew protein: best protein for my hair.
SD where germ butter: best leave in conditioner for my hair.
SD mocha bling hair butter: non greasy, smooth butter that seals moisture for days. It also gives a slight hold for soft definition ( twist/braid out).
Darcy's botanicals deep conditioning hair mask: best moisturizing natural deep conditioner ever. Dry hair does not stand a chance.
EVCO: I hated that oil when I first started. I used it to seal, and my hair will be dry and tangled. This year I revisited it as overnight preppy only. I lose much less hair during the shampoo process.
I can honestly get rid of everything else in my stash and keep just these products.

My best finds of 2013 are:

Bask Vanilla Whiskey Reparative Soak
Komaza Protein Strengthener
Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray (the best heat protectant I’ve ever used)
Babassu Oil

roll on refillable bottles for applying oil to scalp - Someone (sorry can't remember name) mentioned this in the hair tips thread and it is the greatest idea!

Neutral Protein Filler for my protein treatments, cheap but excellent results

curl activator/Shea Moisture Curling Gel Souffle mixture in the summer for wng's

Beshe Drew Wig - I know I am late on this but luv it!
