Oh no, sorry this didn't meet yourexpectations. I am hoping to get this brush in the next couple of weeks, I have a colleague who's Goddaughter lives in the US and she comes over hear frequently, so I've worked it out so that she will bring this over for me on her next visit. I hope it works for me.
I hope it works!

I've finally gotten around to buying the Unbrush and the Unbrush plus. I will try them both out on my next wash day, I'll do half my head with one and the other half with the other. I'm curious to see if I notice any major differences and which one I prefer, providing that I like them.

I am soooooo curious to hear your opinion! I don't want to EVER live without my UNbrush Plus, but I feel like I'm the only one here on the board who LOVES-loves-loves it. Lol

I've noticed that there's more of a lean towards the original Unbrush too. I'll let you know soon, I'm planning to have a wash day sometime next week.

I have several brushes including. The Felicia and the unbrush plus. I have coily hair and I have a lot of shed hair that neither brush deals with.

A stylist on YT compared both and said he would stick with the Denman 38 Paddlebrush. I figured I would try it.

My 1st use I knew it was a game changer for me. I used it today and for the first time i didn't have my fingers covered with shed hairs when applying my leave-in.

Finally found the one!

I like the Denman 38 too. The and denman 38p is also really good.

Unbrush is better for my hair. I turn the brush north - south and brush downward. That works better for me than having the brush facing east-west.

I found this too much for regular detangling but it does work well when I have a lot of shed hair

Makes sense. I have a lot of shrinkage and tighter coils. I need something with muscle. And I always have a lot of shed hair if I detangle after 4 days.

I will keep my other brushes for backup.

I finally got around to trying out the Unbrush and the Unbrush +. TBH, I didn't feel any noticeable difference between the two, they both felt the same in my hand going through my hair. The main difference I can see is the aesthetic and packaging.

I liked them both, the bristles are bigger than the Tangle Teezer, and more rounded off opposed to pointy like the TT. I will continue to use them both and see how I go, so far so good, but I definitely need to pull out my denman paddle brushes.

I'm eyeing the KAZMALEJE brush and one that similar to the Felicia Leatherwood brush.

Depending on your thoughts on the Unbrush, I'll add it to my wishlist.

I just looked up the their brushes, the bristles look very big.

Out of curiosity, is there something specific about these brushes that make you gravitate towards the brand?

I've used both the Unbrush and the Unbrush + a couple of times now. The main differences I've noticed are:

1. The shape and size of the handles
2. I think the bristles a ever so slightly thicker on the Unbrush +
3. There are larger vents/perferations in the Unbrush +
4. The OG Unbrush feels less rigid, it's more flexible than plus.

The similarities are:
1. They are both very lightweight
2. They feel the same to hold despite the differences with their handles
3. They detangle the same (so far )

They ARE very big. I find that Denman type bristles rip through mine and my kids' hair. I figured that I brush like this would be like finger detangling with actual finger-sized/shaped bristles.

Truth be told I haven't combed or brushes my hair in 3+ years, but I'm wondering if something like this could help my finger detangling sessions go faster.

I thought it might be to try to mirror finger combing. I watched/read a few reviews on this, it seems very popular. I've never had any problems with the Denman, it's been a staple for longer than I can remember. The TT ripped through my fine strands, the bristles are like little sharp teeth, I couldn't brush through my hair at scalp level with it. I don't have this problem with the Denman.

Although I love the concept of finger combing/detangling, and have always wondered how it would impact the health of my hair, I just cannot see it working for me. I feel like I wouldn't get all the shed hairs, which would likely create a host of other problems. I aslo imagine my hair getting caught in my nails

This brush looks like a great compromise, it'd be a nice way to ease myself into the direction of finger detangling. I thought I'd hit gold with the two Umbrushes, I intended to park my search for a good detangling brush, I suppose another item on my wishlist won't hurt. Thanks for posting :)
