Best blow dryer for straightening hair?

Hello peeps. I am now on a mission to find a good blow dryer to straighten out my sometimes frizzy hair. I don't know what my hair type is... I'm new to these hair terms. My natural texture is curly and soft; the rest is more straight than curly from a year old perm. Can someone please help me out here and let me know what hair type I fall in, and a good blow dryer to purchase.

i forget which one, but there is one that is highly rated on folica as being ionic ceramic or something or other. that's the one i plan on buying when i get a blow dryer at some point.
