I applaud Reniece for using her platform to make people aware of Lupus. Lupus is a horrible disease and it destroys the body from within.


The pics of LHDC2011 brought tears to my eyes. Gone to soon.

i follo longhairdontcare2011 and i didnt kno she passed away. this is so sad. :-(

i hope there will be more research to help people with lupus.

I'm glad she is raising awareness about Lupus. Marc Lamont Hill did a segment on it being a silent killer for Black women since Black women are disproportionately affected by it. I found the interview insightful, although I wish he would've simply asked the question, "What is lupus? What is the latest research suggesting?" because I still don't understand it. I suggest that people share it since a lot of Black women who have it don't even know they do, they just think they are tired all the time.
