I used to do this shingle method and I'd end up looking like Rick James LOL for my hair less is more. Had to learn that the hard way.

I tried shingling when I was newly natural and it takes a long time! My curls looked a lot bigger and smoother, but somehow I had a lot of extra shrinkage. I just couldn't get into it.

Joigirl your curls are beautiful. How long does it normally take you to shingle? When I first heard about shingling ppl said to use a small/fine-tooth comb. Do you use a comb/brush?

Do you mean me personally, or the woman in the video? (if this post was directed toward me lol)

woman in video: I just checked and she says that she used Argan Oil Eco Styler gel and some TRESemme conditioner with Vitamin E :3

Me!: I use an activator gel paired with a styling gel! I love Worlds of Curls curl activator mixed with Blue Eco Styler (really, any styler will do :3) I hope that helps!
