for a couple of weeks now i put my hair in a braid down my back then i take the end of the braid and clip it on top of my head. i sleep a lot better like that and it's better for my hair too.
how do you ladies sleep??? /images/graemlins/yawn.gif
I sleep on a satin pillow case and also try to use some sort of satin/silk covering. Not that glamorous I know but my husband does not mind. I wish there was another way, but my hair does not like to be left out at night.
I put my hair into a ponytail, put on my satin cap, and sleep on my satin pillowcase. I want to do wraps, but I haven't mastered the technique yet. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I wrap and put a silk cap on, but I'm going to try putting about 8 rollers at night. wrapping over time made one side of my head thin and my mother and a few others told me setting can add body and help with breakage. It's hard to sleep in them, but I am going to try different ways.
Heheheheee! Funny you should ask. I sleep with my satin bonnet most of the time. But I have been known to live on the wild side. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I sleep with my hair the same way I wear it during the day. If it's down, that's how I sleep, if I wear it braided then, that's how I sleep. Since I put a silk scarf around my pillow, I never had to worry about breakage or my hair being messed up. I only sleep one side and only a few hairs are out of place on that side when I wake up. Most of the time I wear two twists and that how I sleep.
If I did a set, I wrap it, tie a silk scarf around the hair line, tie a hair net over this. Otherwise I just tie the silk scarf around my hair line and wear it in a loose ponytail. I always sleep on satin pillowcases(which I made myself). Before I did this the scarf always came off at night. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
i like that idea about making your own pillow cases sweet cocoa. /images/graemlins/smile.gif those satin sheet sets costs toooo much /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
i just throw my satin cap on my tf and i sleep on my satin pillow case.

Have you tried Tenderheaded satin or silk pillowcases? The price isn't so bad.
I usually oil my hair at night, tie a silk or satin scarf around my loose hair and sleep on a satin pillowcase. I think I might start doing a loose braid first to see how that works.
I'm wearing braids right now but I spray my hair every night before bed with S-Curl or put SOME kind of moisturizer in it till it's slightly damp. Then I wrap it up in satin scarves and sleep on a satin pillowcase. I ain't takin no chances! lol /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif
My hair is the same way Julia. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I wrap my hair religiously with a silk or satin scarf. If I leave it out it will look a hot mess! /images/graemlins/nono.gif ...My husband doesn't care (I don't feel as sexy), because all I have to do is comb it down in the morning.
I sleep in a stain cap. Sometimes I wrap my hair and put a satin scarf over it and a satin cap. Othertimes I tie down the top to get it flat and pull th rest in a ponytail and STILL use the satin cap. Or sometimes I just pop on the satin cap!

I put a scarf on my hair, however it was styled during the day, before I go to bed everynight but I rarely wake up with the scarf on in the morning.

Anyhoo, I'm sure I'm the weirdest: I sleep with a cheap plastic shower cap on my head. Keeps it moisturized all night, and I don't wake up with brillo pad. Although, I haven't been doing it recently because I fall asleep on the couch at 3AM... /images/graemlins/alcoholics.gif
Is it me or are any ladies on here apprehensive about snuggling up with your honey and laying your head on his shoulder or chest? I have to go get my scarf or fling my satin pillowcase on him. I just don't feel comfortable anymore. I'm paranoid just 1 hair is going to get caught on his sweater or something.
/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif ...Funny I haven't become paranoid about that yet. /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif I HAVE become extremely paranoid with my hair touching my shirts, sweaters, and coats if the material is not silky. Now I always put a satin scarf around my coats, sweaters, etc.
I wrap my hair every night and then put on my silk scarf. But lately I have been putting my hair in a loose ponytail and then rolling the ponytail. And yes Londondiva, I agree with what you said. I too have to go make sure I have my silk scarf on before laying down or laying on my husband. I would rather my hair look like this /images/graemlins/weird.gif than this /images/graemlins/shocked.gif!

I have the same paranoia, it's getting bad girl. If I wear a sweater or something non smooth and silky I have to pin my hair up. I just have too. It's like i hear these voices in my head and my ends are screaming "SAVE ME!! SAVE ME!!" and it's not just one voice but 100,000 at the same time. /images/graemlins/whyme.gif
