I'm so happy...


So I was 10 weeks post relaxer when I decided to do the chop. The first pic is of my hair in Nov of last year. I was just above apl. Now I have about 1" of hair. I would have had more, but when I was using the scissors I put in a plug in my hair, so I had to even it out...

I BCed in a similar way to you, OP. I was maybe 6-8 weeks post, and my hair was between SL and APL. I just chopped it all off. It was a shock, that's for sure... and DH was not happy but oh well... Go big or go home, that's what I always say.

Well, I have toyed with the idea of being natural for a few years and never could transition very well. Also my SO didn't want me to bc. Well 2010 has brought many changes to me and I felt like I might as well make the outside reflect what I feel is somewhat going on inside of me.
