BC has made me happy

After all the frustration and ups and downs in the last 5 months I went thru while transitioning and not being able to decide if I really wanted to go natural, I am so happy I did bc. I don't have any tangling problems in the shower, I can run my fingers thru my hair- in fact I can't keep my hands OUT of my hair. I love it that much. :drunk::lick: I love the texture and I just have so much fun with it and all the things I plan to do with it. And surprisingly enough - to ME at least- I've gotten a lot of compliments. DH likes it- he's happy that I'm happy. My MIL loves it- she says I look like a little girl. My friends at work think I look younger and they are just amazed at what my natural hair looks like. And funniest of all, what I LEAST expected was, that most of these compliments are from non-black folks. :yep: They are just totally fascinated with my hair. Well, I think that's always been happening- relaxed, natural, braided weaved.

Anyone else feeling good they bc'd?

Enjoy all that 'good new exciting feeling' while you can. And I mean REALLY enjoy it

Because it does wear off
