BC + 1 Year of Growth = SL!! Well... Almost

I'm not ready to claim it just yet, but I'm getting pretty close!

I almost didn't do a one year update because I really feel that I could/should have retained more length, but I suppose I could have done a LOT worse. My hair has come a long ways, so I'll be nice and share! Whether you want me to or not!

1-25-10 The day of my BC.

Eight months later, I straightened my hair for the first time.

And here's how it looks today.

I was really hoping to claim SL by now, but I'm not ready just yet. I'm hoping by March it'll be there for sure! Even if it's only just scraping it!

Overall it's been a great year! I can't wait to see how it'll look this time next year!

More of your neck is covered. You will get to SL soon and imagine this time next year or at the end of 2011 you will be SL or a little more.

Iono. *shrugs* There wasn't any kind of trick to it or anything. It was pretty easy once I blew it out. I even used a 2" wide flat iron instead of one of the narrower ones! I wouldn't necessarily recommend that though.

It was easy though! Just give it a shot! Oh, and don't forget to post some pitchas when you do!! I'd love to see it!

Nope! I hadn't even been thinking about going natural. After suffering a pretty severe bout of breakage, I had been trying to decide what to do with my hair. I was looking online for a nice wig, when I came across some random blog or forum post, (I can't remember which) that really made me question why I always felt the need to relax my hair. I thought it over for a few days and decided to go natural. I BC'd a couple of days after that, and here I am; a year later with the healthiest hair I've ever had!!

ETA: I was about a month and a half to two months away from my last relaxer when I BC'd.

I think your progress is good. You right where u are supposed to be, and it looks thick. I BC'd down to 2inches and 1 year later i was at SL. you can see in my siggie.
