Liv is oily and has a heavier feel to it. This isnt oily at all, its thick but light like a pudding and is absorbed well into your hair.

I just got an order of 2 jars of Curl Creme from Irby's and my Godbrother's checkin' on the price of the Stretch, in order to get it for me...I have enough products, and who started this thread I oughta make them pay for it.....

Does anyone know of another website beside Irbys that I can order from?

I did a mad search online and couldn't find it anywhere else!!! Since teenie saw it in a local BSS, maybe she'll share and we can see if they ship. Even the packaging has a website for BBD, but it doesn't exist or the site is down....permanently???

I know I'm so upset that they are out! I really want to dry this product!

i ordered the kaela oil and the silkening lotion, the customer service lady told me if you mix a little of the 2 then flat iron your hair comes out straight like a relaxer.

has anyone tried this and got this result?

Its $45 at my bss too so I didnt get it...the man was tring to talk it up though, he was telling me how everyone likes it and he had me smell it, it smells sooooo good, like a tropical drink.

Did they have any of the other BBD products?

I lucked out on wednesday when I telephone Irby and they had 2 jars of the stretch creme left in the store but not for sale online.
I begged her to sell them to me and I ordered the Oil and Silkening Lotion.
After April 10 the BBD product will not be available on line any more competitors are complaining of the low price that Irby sells these products.
But you can still order the stretch for 21.99 with a phone order.
The stretch creme should be back in stock soon so check it out ladies.
I have a store in my area sell the products but they are too expensive they want 56 bucks for the stretch creme (no way).

I just ordered the stretch from Irby's just in time before they take it off line....whew, that's a load off my mind...the guy never showed up to my godbrother's salon....

Me too, I went to the website and ordered two jars. :)

I bought it online today too, just in time. I think they're taking it off tomorrow...
You know, if competitors want us to buy from them, they should LOWER THEIR PRICES!!!!!!!!!!! If Irby's can sell it for almost half of what others are charging, why can't other retailers come down on the price???

I talked to a guy who handles the online orders. He said that beauticians and suppliers get a different price qoutes because they both order different amounts. So unless salons started ordering in bulk, they will keep charging folks that amount of money. Personally I think that is an unfair business practice, I mean we do live in a capitialistic society, am I right?

cuz they 're selfish they are probably paying 5-10 bucks for the stuff and charging us and arm and a leg

Did anybody miss the cut off date to purchase online and is going to order by telephone?

If anybody is doing a telephone could they please pm me as I would like to buy the stretch creme, oil and lotion and they don't do international orders (to the UK). I would pay by paypal.

So if anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks, Ruby

That's a shame. I'm glad I ordered a couple of weeks ago, but now wish I ordered more than one :-(

I LOVE this stuff.

Ask lori about it and also try ccd. CCD had asked me about it once but I dont know if she ever actually purchased it. I could only find vague references online when I searched for it before. I eventually came across the company info but they never answered the phone and that was a couple of years ago. I'm so happy I have a place to purchase it. One jar will last at least 6 mos to a year (when I'm not giving out samples to friends that would keep asking what I was using. I'm such a pushover :) )

Sorry this is so long. :)

I looked into it but decided against it actually....I found that I have enough product to work with and I need to stick with what I have ( Ohhhsoooo Hard to do:) Good luck with it though

No I haven't but when I looked on their shipping page it said that they don't do international orders.

How much is it at Jasmines?

I called them earlier today,
The stretch is 45.00 and the glass is 19.99. He has another product for 11.99, I cant remember the name of it, he said it was for the edges. I may get the glass because I have been wanting to try that again and it would be about the same from irbys once I tack on s&H.

...sorry i hit the edit instead of the quote earlier....

The Glass from Irby's was not even $20, inluding shipping.

Well for now it is.

I ordered the stretch for 21.99 @Irbys, with shipping it came to 30 bucks. If I order just the glass for 11.99, with shipping (I'm assuming it would be the same as the weight is the same) I'd come out the same as Jasmines, around 20. Its cheaper to order the stretch @Irbys, I still save 15 bucks over what I would get locally, even with shipping, but the glass would even out to about the same if I order it by itself. Plus I get instant gratification, no waiting on the mailman. :)

Thanks Girl!!!!

Well, just went back to: http://www.irbysbeautysupply.com/BBDProducts.html
to see if they still had it.

THEY'VE UP'D THE PRICE!!!!! :( Guess they have to stay within the guidelines of the manufacturer. Atleast it IS still available. For a moment, I thought it was discontinued and that would be terrible because it is really a great product. But at $45 for a small jar???? I might try to find something more comparable at a more economical price :ohwell:
