BB Lotion VS. Qhemet Heavy Cream???

Who here has used both products? How do they compare? I find BB Lotion is very good but the softness DOES NOT last past 12 hours. I want to try QB heavy cream but will that last past 12 hours?

Is this only for natural ladies or do you think it will help for a relaxed head like me? I have fine 4A/b hair and I just ordered some yesterday so I hope the answer is yes!!!

Yes, Relaxed hair ladies can use it. I know some around here love it. It was just okay to me. (I am relaxed)

Qhemet Heavy Cream is too thick to me. I'm relaxed fine 4a. I had to add coconut oil to apply it without it being stiff. I ordered the sample pack from Qhemet and it took 3 weeks to get to me. After all that waiting...its just okay. If it was available in a local store I would buy it again but I won't be reordering. I recently purchased BB's in the white/pink bottle and I really like it! My hair stays very soft for days. I do use a small amount every morning though. I feel like I have to put something on my hair so I don't know if the softness and shine would last without reapplying.

That is the exact same problem I have with it.

The hair moisturizer in the pink and white bottle.

Thanks for all the replies ladies. They don't sell the sampler to Canadians online. I may have to find another way to get it.

Maybe it's good for putting hair up and the sidr is good for when you wear it down.

I self-relax and intentionally leave my hair with some curl, but the heavy cream works really well for me when I air dry my hair. My hair was soft for a few days and I then reapply it. I rub a small amount between my hands and apply it mostly to my ends and my new growth. I haven't tried it on my hair when it is straightened yet, so it might be too heavy for me in that case.

I love the QB Heavy Cream for wearing buns, the QB Sidr Butter is perfect for my straight, flat-ironed hair. Both moisturize plus keep my hair soft.

I have used both products and I would say the BB Oil Moisturizing lotion is good for moisturizing and oiling the hair simultaneously but the Alma & Olive Heavy cream is luxuriously creamy and does give wonderful softness. It's unlike any other product I have ever tried. If anyone is the least bit interested I would recommend trying it. :yep:

Thanks for all the replies Ladies. I think I'll get 2 jars of Amla and one of sidr and test it out. I'm too in love with my Vitapro fusion leave in to use the detangler. Plus I want to try the IC gel with sparkelites so I'll skip the honey gel.

The honeybush tea gel was too light a hold for my hair anyway--it was like flaxseed gel consistency. The IC gel is much better, if you need any sort of hold (the blue leaves less crunch than the clear, FME).

I have used both the sidr tree and the amla-they're both nice. My favorite is probably the olive and honey balm one though.
