Im going to get some pencil size braids on Thursday and i was wonderin if this a good brand of braiding hair?

Yes, it is. I had some braids a few weeks ago with Batik hair. It held up very nice. As I was telling one of the ladies in the other thread, I washed it once a week, and it held up fine. As with any synthetic hair, you should handle it carefully when washing, but I had no problems with it.
