My best frriend tried something of theirs and said it left a gooey film on her head. I want to say it was this same line, and she got it on sale too! I would proceed with caution

HAHA! I am going to try it when I take this sew in out I have been buying products for the last couple of days like I am about to use them but you know when a sista see's a SALE :woot:

Girl I got sucked into the sale too! I have the reconstructor and the rosemary spray you have pictured. I also bought the wheat patchouli conditioner, green tea leave in fixative (kinda liquidey gel) and a sample of the wheat patchouli shampoo. The reconstructor, conditioner and shampoo are just okay IMHO. The shampoo is actually kind of drying (has those sulfates which I normally avoid) and the conditioner did not aid in the detangling process at all. Oh well, at 3 bucks a bottle for each thing, I'm just gonna use it up anyways.

Ooh and I also got the olive sandalwood styling pomade! Now I love this stuff. And it's smells great, not too perfumey, just kinda herbally. Sorry for making up words lol.

Oh and I'm natural btw.

ETA: The sample sizes (like the shampoo I got) are only $1!!

I used the reconstructor and I hated it. It did not rinse well or strengthen my hair. I wouldn't recommend it.

okay thanks ladies I still have to try it out I will use them up also...I wont be taking my hair down until the end of July anyways

Dang, I bought the wheat germ almond, wheat germ and thyme, and the wheat germ and patchouli conditioner and reconstructor. I guess this stuff is going to be donated very soon. *smh*

I also purchased on the recent Bath & Body Works sale. I liked several of the products:
- Wheat Bran & Patchouli Shampoo & Conditioner (worked really well on my springy dry-haired ten year old daughter.
- Rosemary & Mint Shampoo
- The conditioning gel in the jar smells great and is good for sealing the ends when braiding hair in order to air dry
- Rosemary Green Tea Conditioning Mist (I use this product to lightly mist my ends and hairshaft if needed. I feel it really helps with the dry air conditions here in So. Calif. and enhances any 'butter'-style products.

On another note: for misting/moisture sprays:
- Na-PCA w/ aloe vera by Twinlabs (can be found at health food stores usually) is a worthwhile and reasonably-priced addition to our quest for moisture
- Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture mist (which is slightly more watery than the Na-PCA which I like best. I use the Na-PCA after shower as a fantastic moisturizer for face & body!

ALSO, the John Frieda Beach Blone Life Preserver hair Conditioning Oil is great for bun wraps, swimming, moisturizing. I got it at my local Big Lots ($1.99) in So. Calif. Enjoy~
