Barber Shop

Does anybody go to the barber shop for hair cuts or trims? I am a natural and considering going to the barber to have my hair cut. What had been your experience at the barber as compared to the beauty salon?

When I first went natural, I would frequent a local barbershop to get my hair tapered in the back. I have never been for a trim; I have only gone to get my hair cut.
