Bangs, Hair Shape, Natural Hair? (Pic request)

Well, my hair is just blahhhhh to me these days. It has no shape whatsoever and I have not cut it in 2years of growing it out.
My bangs are about APL I guess, maybe 3/4 inches past my chin, basically it looks like a mop

Do you think bangs will look too "wiggy" for really thick hair? What length bangs would work on both curly and straight hair?

This is about the only look I found off hand that I thought was cute, what do you all think?

And another question....this is a random weave pic, but what would you call this...is it just a bang or is it layering around the face? I would like it to fall something like this when straight...

You think its something worth committing to?

I've felt your pain recently. I say go get your hair shaped then see if that helps.
