One of my hair staples is my trusty orange bandana:eek: . I realize that this probably is not the best thing to put on my head if I am trying to grow my hair but my hair is A HOT MESS RIGHT NOW! It is too long to wear in a style and too short to put in a decent looking ponytail and I have almost two inches of new growth on my head. Is there anything else I can buy that will cover me up but will still protect my hair? You know something more stylish?

Cotton bandanas can be very very drying to the hair. Try using a silk/satin scarf instead. If you want something more stylish, try a headband.

Also once you get your satin scarf, make sure that you don't tie it too tight. I am now suffering from breakage at my nape as a result of tying the scarf at the same spot every night. I would tie my scarves extra tight to make sure they would get my hair straight when airdrying. My hair is super fragile when wet so over a period of time I noticed breakage. I was so busy concentrated on not using heat that I didnt really that tying the scarf too tight would lead to breakage.
