Got this from a friend on another site and Love Love Love it...
It's a BANANA CLIP!!!

I simply airdried my hair (using Sylver's scarf method :kiss: ), put in some Carusos, then the banana clip and Viola!!

Don't sleep on this ladies... it's a great time saver ESPECIALLY when in the middle of a stretch and wearing you hair down have other people looking like :eek: at your roots!!

They come in a pack of 3 for like $2 at Walmart... soooo worth it!!
 
Cute! I've seen girls with them around here for a while but I can never figure out how to get all my hair in one. :lol:

Veeeerrrryyy pretty!! Did you use hair spray,did curls stay the same all day or did it fall?

Oh, the title scared me!! I thought it was about someone going to bed with banana clips in their hair and their hair came out or somn! :eek: lol I'm a little slow, ok *relief*

I forgot all about these! I used to love banana clips back in the day. I haven't worn one since I had a Jherri Curl back in the 80's. :lol: I'll be making a trip to Walmart on my lunch break this week to pick some up! :D
 
I love banana clips. I use them to do french rolls. I get mine at Claires, Sallys, and Asian BSS. I have to be carefull when selecting them because I have thick hair.
 
i love banana clips too. i've been using them for about a year now. i love using it for a protective style; i'll place my hair in the clip and then twist the ends up and roll and secure them in the banana clip as well.

your hair looks very pretty.
 
Looks lovely. I have a couple of those and would wear them when I had my hair out. But since they're in braids...gotta wait till I take em out! THey are convienent to use though, they really are :D

I wore them when I was natural. It was definitely tough work getting all the hair in there, but I did accomplish it.


Banana clips are my thing! I wear it with my pin curls or my wash n goes.

:eek: When did banana clips come back?!? I used to have these in errry color when I started high school...red, black, white, with rhinestones...

I also LOVE banana clips. The only problem I've found is that if my roots are not straightned, it's really hard to get it closed. Lately, I've been trying to wear it, but it's just not happening!

Banana clips ROCK!

If your hair is straightened and pulled into a clip... grab some hair pins and wrap some hair around your finger...then pin it and let a lil curl spill over the bend of the pin. Do about 10 of these and it will be soooo pretty!

Plus, when you take it down your hair will have a pretty wave to it and a nice shape at the ends.
 
I use them to make my french rolls, some definitely are more durable than others, if your hair is on the thick side you can definitely use them, it’s all about technique! :yep:
 
I love banana clips. It makes everyone look like they have more hair. I love that whole illusion thing.

Very cute, and you are not lying about hiding the NG. Sometimes I put one on right after rinsing out my DC and airdry in them.

Your hair is looking very good and this pic should be added to you siggy pics, it really shows your progress as far as thickness and health.
 
Hey Ladies,

I love banana clips but I gotta warn ya, back in the day they used to break out your kitchen area. These were a staple for me and lots of my friends in middle school +14 yrs ago..and the clips broke off mine and my friends hair.

Just giving a heads up!
