I ordered some of this but have yet to use it. I also ordered the Sahara Clay to go along with it. (The Sahara Clay will also double as a facial mask so my husband is going to try that). I'm planning on using it tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes. It's supposed to take 3 applications 7-10 days apart and then you are to continue to apply it every 6-8 weeks. It's supposed to help your hair keep from reverting so quickly also. We'll see.

For the 3 applications..do you have to get more than the one package or however it comes.. or are the 3 applications in the 1 package??
I tried this back in September right before I BC'd and it did ABSOLUTELY nothing for me. Granted I only tried it once. I was rinsing my hair forever b/c of the herbs.
Well I still use it occasionally since my last posts back in May. My hair is still strong and soft, but I am not sure if it has any affect on my hair. The first time I used it, I saw a difference. It was a very subtle difference, but a difference. I was also transitioning out of my perm. Now when I use it (my hair is natural) my hair is looks the same. I also have some co-workers who have used it also and it had no affect on their hair.
Nevertheless, I got the chance to talk to the owner of this products and she boldly explained how this product has been used for years in Africa. This product will not make your hair look relaxed or even texturized for that matter. She said think of it as a "spa treatment/deep conditioner" for your hair.
and ITA with her. Would I recommend it, yes if you can afford it, but to me it is a pricey "deep conditioner"
