Baggie Pics?

My ends are dry and I want to try the baggie method to get them on point. I checked them and they are not split, just dry. I sort of have an idea of how to do it, get a sandwich bag and put the oil in it and place your ends in that?

How do you keep the bag from slipping off overnight?

How do you keep the oil from spilling out of the sandwhich bag and getting off over your pillowcase?

Any pics?

TIA! :) :)

PS. I did do a search and couldn't find any threads with pictures, if there are any please post them here and I will go check them out!

When I baggy, I moisturize and seal as normal. I place my hair in a loose ponytail with a roller on the ends. I take a clean baggy and wrap the baggy around the ponytail with the roller tucked inside. I place a scarf around my entire head and I'm done. You do not need any additional creams, oils, or any other moisturizing products. The baggy alone creates a moisturized atmosphere. In fact, Nonie does the "whole head" baggy method with NO additional products. When you remove the baggy, your hair should feel moisturized, but not wet. The baggy method used over a period of time correctly should infuse moisture back into your strands. Keisha 8185 has an excellent Fotki tutorial on baggying. I'm sure others will chime in to pics as well. HTH!

ETA: Roller is optional. I use it because I am relaxed and it gives my hair a nice bump!

I never knew how to really do this... I would pack some moisturizer on my ends with oil, and seal in a sandwhich bag,and wake up next morning with a wet slip mess, lol

OP, if slipping is a problem. Use Saran wrap. If doing a full-head wrap, it works very well, because you can wrap it flat against your forehead so no risk to hairline and no marks on skin. It also doesn't make noise while you sleep. If wrapping just ends in a bun, you can tie it firmly or just wrap it firmly then tie a stocking over it.

A plastic cap then a scarf or doo rag can work too.
