I'm still stuffing my hair into the sandwich bags. Have ya'll graduated to freezer bags? This may sound silly, but I need to know if stuffing my hair into a little bag is good for it or not?

:D @ freezer bag. I use regular sandwich bags.. I dont see why anything bad would happen from your hair being in one all day. Nothing's happened to me.

I use a sandwich bag also, but my hair isn't very long. I could see how someone with long hair might need a slightly larger bag to maximize the benefits.

There's nothing wrong with putting your hair in a bag. Nothing will happend to it beside it being moisturized all day. I use Ziploc Quart stroage bags when using oil because they're less likely to break or tear.

If you're worried about your hair fitting in the bag, braid it and then put it in.

Can somebody illustrate with pictures how to do the baggie method without phony ponies???? I don't understand how to hide it without one

You can always use scarves. You can also put a sandwich bag on the last quarter of your hair and put it in a french twist or bun. That way, the majority of your hair is out but all of the ends are covered.

When I did the baggie method my hair was waist length, and I still used a sandwich bag. It would fit neatly over my bun or rolled up single braid with no problem at all.

I'm past bra-strap and use the sandwich bags. No problems at all. In fact, I really like the Baggie Method.
