Bad Wedding Gifts?

hey ladies,

i am recently engages and someone who got wind of the news decided to give me a christmas/wedding present.... and to be honest, while I appreciate the sentiment, it is so ugly and outdated and horrible. I am never going to use this ever in my life. the person who gifted this to me is a friend of my mother's. I've already sent a thank you note.

What have you ladies done with gifts that you did not like? I can't return it. Do you give it away? Keep it for a certain amount of time?

Regift it. I got a floral Tiffany vase (wasn't on my registry) and never used it. It's still in the closet.

While I am very thankful for anything anyone ever gives me, eBay, my neighborhood buy/sell/trade group on FB and Salvation Army are my friends.

Congrats! I can't think any of any bad gifts I got. I'd probably either donate it or regift it.

I got a ton of terrible gifts. I just threw them away.

Donate it. I'd be wary of regifting it because if you didn't like no one else probably will either lol. Unless it's just not your style/taste.
