I got caught up...and had to do another BC. Well, actually it's a super BC. More like a Caesar. Check my avatar.

I'll try this time around to enjoy the journey and not get so caught up in the end point. Although some of you out there ***cough Black MasterPiece, Mwedzi, Boston Maria, Lynnie B, BoingBoing cough*** make it hard not to long for the flowing natural locks.

Any advice for how to take care of such a low cut?

I am not sure why you cut it but just keeping it moisturized for now you should be good to go. Some of the BC experts I am sure will be chiming in.

Hang in there.

that's awesome!!! congrats on your cut!

as far as maintenance, cowash often & stimulate the blood flow to the scalp by using a bristle brush. that'll help get you to TWA stage faster. & accessories & fierce makeup will definitely add to the fierceness of a short cut :yup:

there's a member here... i can't remember her username, but she shaved her head as well last September, & i'm sure her and her hair are doing well.

Hey Yen!! Your hair will grow back in no time. Rock that for now. now that it's getting warmer, we have to plan a meet up!

I had a ceasar! I think I cowashed daily... It was august.... And used coconut oil and a wave cap at night and had serious waves. I'd say keep it simple while u still can. Congrats

LOL I did nothing! Enjoy it!.:) perfect summer style.. I cowashed sometimes, I oil rinsed a lot as it grew, I would wipe my baldness with tea tree oil when I kept it bald but your growing it. If you want curls and its super short oil rinse it and use a jug to wash out the oil not your shower head. Oils your friend... thats all I got. HTH

Um...you might have some company OP in about a couple of days. I'm starting all over again and I think a buzz cut is only appropriate.
