Babyliss Prima Vs Ion Straight And Spiral

My blue babyliss flat iron isn’t as consistent as it used to be. I noticed that Sally now sells a version of babyliss. I wanted to get the prima which has the option of creating waves supposedly in one pass. Well given the buy one get one free sale none of the stores had it. I found the ion instead. I have never used an ion product. I’m not sure if I should just purchase the babyliss online.

1) has anyone used this product (see picture)
2) has anyone used both companies products? If so, did you see any major differences in quality?
3) is the sally version of babyliss on par with the regular blue line?

I appreciate you help.

Thanks.

I have the babyliss prima 3000. I love it! I purchased mine from Ulta about a year ago and it does the best silk presses. I see a lot of YouTubers use it when they do silk presses as well. You can also curl the hair with it but the curls won't be tight. I called babyliss when I left Ulta to make sure that my flat iron was legit so I think that's the only way to know if the Sally's babyliss is on par. I haven't tried the ion brand but I would definitely go the babyliss route.
