I remember a good friend of mine was braiding this girls hair. Next thing you know a roach appeared from out of her hair and disappeared again. My friend didn't scream she just moved her hand and looked at me. My mouth was wide open. I couldn't believe what I saw. My friend tries to braid it in there. Neither one of us said a thing until later on. Ugh!

Girl.....I have a tremendous fear of roaches and Georgia has a lot of them and they are BIG as hell. Our house is surrounded by forest and sometimes they get inside and oh my lord Jesus I freak all the way out. I am from the north and when I moved here I was not expecting all of these bugs everywhere and geico's and snakes. I totally feel your fear and disgust but hurry up and wash your hair because, not to totally freak you out, but they reproduce FAST and you don't want babies.:nono:

I hope you feel better:sunshine:

mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I saw the biggest scary movie looking roaches in ATL. They had long a$$ attenaes (sp) and wings and girllll. I was so freaked out and they didnt give a S&(t about me turning on the lights or nothing....

...and it probably stopped, looked you up and down, bucked its shoulders like "WHAT YOU THINK YOU GONNA DO?", popped its collar, and pimped off moving like "That's what I thought."

What ended up happening to the roach? Did it come out again or did you friend just braid it in with the rest of the hair?

This is making me queasy. :ill:

I have a live in cat she never goes out side. Well she got out last summer and brought fleas in with her my house was infested with fleas I did everything you can imagine to get those fleas out it took a lot of spraying and cleaning. Flea bites or worst then mosquito bites. Its good I don't have carpet in my house at all. Anyway, One day I felt my scalp just moving they were in my hair and there was nothing I could do to get them out. Nothing. I brought Neem oil because they say it gets them out no it didn't I washed every day with shampoo three times a day nothing happen it was the most unnerving thing. I finally pressed my hair out. I Had to do it 3 times. Then I put some sulfur in there and they were gone. I hope no one has to ever go through that it was horrible. I went on line trying to find out how to do it too. You wouldn't believe how many people have that problem. Or other investations. It was the worst feeling in the world. I felt out of control. So I can imagine having a bug in your hair feels like. Then after that you have the phantom bugs too. God bless you.
