I must say it's very encouraging to see all the growth you ladies are recieving with this product. I jumped on the bandwagon earlier this year myself. Except I had an adverse effect. I would generally put MTG on my hair 3 days before shampooing. I liked the sheen and the smell didnt bother me to much. The problem is, one night, I added a little to much to my hair and it ran down my face and neck. I wiped it up, washed my face and went to bed. I woke up the next morning with terrible bumps and rashes every where it touched. Needless to say I pushed the bottle aside. Thankfully I know I have super sensitive skin and I already had an oinment for such occasions so skin is fine.

Now my problem is that. I love reading all the wonderful things MTG is doing for you and it's very tempting to try it again. I know certain things cant come into with my skin, so should I just be more careful about it touching my face or should I just throw it away and call it a loss? Does the fact that my skin cant handle it mean my hair wont recieve the benefits?

And please remember I had no problem for about a month or so..I only had a problem when it sat on my face for too long.

I totally understand what you are saying. For the first two weeks after I used MTG, ran down my neck and shoulders and caused my skin to burn, feel leathery, and caused flaking, peeling skin, and darkened my skin.

I too have very sensitive skin, and have to be very careful when I use MTG. I would suggest using a tiny amount around your face and rubbing it in really well. You may also want to use a spray bottle when applying it around your face, so you don't have any drip down. Also, always use a towel to protect your neck and shoulders and sleep with this around your neck/shoulders for added protection. Last, I also wrap my head with a shower cap when I apply MTG and sleep in this.

i apply it with my fingertip and it has never run down my neck. i have control over the amount that i am applying that way

Oh thank goodness...My boyfriend said it was ridiculous for me to keep using it since it had such a strange reaction on my skin.

Ok..so now I know...Just control it a little better and I can sing the praises too!!

it messes up my skin too and my ma suggested that that was the reason why...the mtg is messing up my skin but on my off days i wash it regularly and it goes back to normal quite well...

it is annoying and sore while it happens but my scalp doesnt have any reaction so its quite weird..
