how long does hair usually grow in one year? I have been going natural since January 2004 and I wanted to know what it might be in January of 2005

i think the average is 6 inches a year. but it is diffrernt for everyone. your hair growth rate might be slower or faster.

Average growth is 6 inches per year according to every book I have read. However, it can also depend on the individual because my hair grows an inch every six weeks.

i get 4-5 a year but this year i might get more since i started making a conscious effort to take care of my hair.
