Average amount of new growth....?

Next Wendsday will be the 12 week that I've gone without a relaxer. This is a record for me because the longest i've EVER gone without one is 9 weeks. I'm just curious if anyone knows how much growth can be achieved in-between that time...? Probably a silly question but I'm just wanting someone to give me a ballpark figure. I've been wearing my hair in 2 strand twists for 2 weeks now and the new growth would be ugly if it weren't for the rubber bands holding it all down up there. I saying: the new growth is out of control!!!

I don't know how you perm stretchers do it. You have my sympathy and admiration.

Most people average about 1/2" a month, so 1-1/2" for 12 weeks.

I'm so slow. I wish I could get 1 1/2 inches in three months!

I think it depends on the person. For me it would be about 1 inch in the front and even less in the back.

The average amount is 1/2 inch/month. At least that's what all the hair experts say. Mine is 1/2 inch/month.

Yeah, in 3 months time........ assuming you have been properly moisturing and protecting your ends, thus retaining that growth..... I would say to expect about 1.5 inches. Thats what i'd probably have.
