Has anyone used either of these 2 products? If so, how do you use it & what are the results....Is it only for naturals, or can relaxed heads use it too? Thanks for your help in advance...

I was just about to post this question about Aveda's "Be Curly" I've heard it's good for wash and go styling with relaxed hair

I use Aveda Humectant on my ends after they've been flatironed. I apply a teeny-tiny bit (just barely coating my finger tip almost) before combing my hair. It keeps my ends moist but not sticky.

I'm interested in learning more about "Be Curly". It on my "Products to Buy" list. I'm hoping it works for naturals too.

I use 'Be Curly' combined with WGO as a leave in. In my experience, it's not really a 'curl definition' product, well at least not for my hair type. But it is a great moisturizer and I find that it helps my hair not be frizzy. If you look at my May album, the dry bun is loaded with Be Curly.

I was at the Aveda store yesterday and was looking at the Humectant Pomade and it just kind of felt like regular grease. I didn't even bother reading the ingredients after I felt it.

:( I probably won't get "Be Curly" then.

Aveda Anti-Humectant reminds me of grease. But the consistency of the Humectant reminds me of JAM.:)

The Humectant pomade is very good. It helped me a lot during the early stage of my transition. I stopped using it because it was so expensive for such a little jar.

You're right, Jam is the right description for the anti-humectant, it's kind of a pomade.

I like and use the Anti-Humectant, a pomade that's very light and non-greasy with castor oil as the main ingredient.

The Humectant I had to return since it made my hair revert. I think it's best for natural heads.

When I would visit an Egytian salon they'd put anti-humectant on after blow drying before curling with the marcel irons.

I bought the Be Curly last Thursday and tried to use it with a wash and go (i'm natural) and it did ab-so-lute-ly nothing for my hair. It also left a product residue on my wet hair. I returned it and got some Aveda Elixir leave on conditioner. I have never used the pomade.

I'm relaxed and tried Be Curly and it did nothing for my hair. After using it, my hair had some waves, the same kind I get when I put some leave in conditioner on my hair and let it air dry. I had to return it b/c the guy told me it would make my hair curly. But, when I took it back the lady explained that it's for people who already have curly hair and it enhances their curls.
