Aveda Institute in NYC? Has anyone been to one?

I am interested in going to a Aveda Institute in NYC but I'm a little worried that they will not be able to properly style my natural hair. I am going to get a color and blowdry/flat iron. How much do they usually charge for their services? I am going because I have seen so many ladies here come out with beautiful hair but I never knew anything about them b4. Please help me out with any info or reviews that u have on the ones in NYC. Thanks in advance.

I've only been to the stores to get the products and I've never met anyone that's gone either, which is kind of strange now that I think of it........BUT....when you go, can you find out if they do relaxers too. TIA!

I am going to call them tomorrow. I hope they don;t mess my hair up. I want to get a cut also but I'm scared of scissors getting close to my hair right now. I'll just ask them about the color and the straightening. oh, and I'll ask them how much a relaxer is too 4 u.

Aveda Institutes do just about all of the same services as regular salons and they have done a wonderful job on my hair the ONE time I've been. There are two in NY.
