i cannot vote right now but i did want to say that aveda have superb customer service. i have been hearing a lot about the aveda line but had already purchased the real control. so i decided i will wait until after i finish it before trying the aveda. well after reading this poll and hearing more rave reviews i seeked out my local aveda store (Stonecrest Mall). and was really impress with the manager and the other employees. they did not just start trying to shove products in my hand. they first took the time to see what concerns i might be having with my hair (thanks to LHCF i was pleased to advise her that i pretty much had my hair care under control but is always in the market for a good conditioner). they then took the time to educate me on their products.

now what really did it for me was when i told her that i was interested in the dry or damage remedy line (due to LHCF reviews) she recommended i try the samples first and see which i like before purchasing any of them. the manager wanted to make sure i find what i would be happy with (i think she saw how compasionate i was about the health of my hair) rather than trying to just make a quick sale.

another thing stood out to me is that they were not trying to educate while having damaged hair on their head. you know, like a beautician giving you her card and her hair show signs of severe damage. well the three employees (one being the manager) hair looked very healthy. oh my god...VERY healthy.

well i did not mean to mess up this thread but i am very big on customer service. and i thought it was worth sharing.

now back to the thread at hand: i will be able to give my opinion about the damage remedy on tuesday after i wash my hair. then next week i will tell you about the dry remedy. i hope one of these poo and cond combos work for me because i really would like to find a complete line i can use. so we'll see.
:yep: this is the same place i got my aveda dr from and she was soo friendly. she tested my hair to see if it was healthy by taking two strands and putting it in water. i must agree eventhough the products are expensive i will purchase them any day. I love the aveda DR !

i used the damage remedy on today and i tell you this stuff is awesome. when i rinsed the con out my hair felt so darn soft and i was able to manage my new growth very good. i took my silicon mix in the shower with me because i was not sure if DR was going to live up to the hype. and to my surprise, i did not have to use it. i didn't even have to use my shower comb, i was able to finger comb my hair.

although i was planning on using the DM, DR and real control to give my opinion for this poll, i almost changed my mind. but i will go through with it because i know i am also searching for whats going to be best.

i will post the update on the others once i use them. but i have a feeling i will be buying the DR at the end of this evaluation.

I have tried both lines Aveda's Damage Remedy, and Dry Remedy, here is my opinion on both lines:

Dry Remedy Shampoo: I really looove this shampoo, i like how it lathers really well, and no creepy crawlers on my scalp, it was easy to comb through my hair which is different from Aubey Organics shampoo which makes my hair tangled.

Dry Remedy Treatment: It's not thick enough for me, and I thought it would have moisturize my hair a little more than it did like my favorites such as Keracare humento, and moisturfuse which overly moisturizes my hair (in which I think).

Dry Remedy Conditioner: I really like this conditioner, it's nice and thick, and my comb just glide so smoothy through my hair.

Damage Remedy Shampoo: After all the hype on LHCF I was expecting this line to be the best; I don't like how the shampoo doesn't lather enough (I used it 2x), the good thing is that my hair felt stronger after.

Damage Remedy Treatment: I like how the treatment is thick, but I thought it would have made my hair a little more softer though.

Damage Remedy Conditioner: I really like how this conditioner made my hair feel soft and stronger and my hair was so easy to comb through.

So if I had to choose one line I would choose Dry Remedy over all, but I love the conditioner from Damage Remedy.

I have only tried the dry remedy line and I absolutely LOVE it. The shampoo is wonderful; it's the best moisturizing shampoo I've ever used. :yep: The conditioner is good, too! :yep:

I really like the shampoo as well. I think it may become a staple for me. I haven't tried the Dry Remedy conditioners but I love the Damage Remedy conditioners.

i jsut got a real control set *all products included* from trade secrets! I will post a review when i try it

everytime i use the damage remedy line my hair turns out a hard crunchy mess. the dry remedy shampoo was nice but the conditioner sucked on my hair. i still havent used my real control but i might use it next month.
